Huntsville, Alabama

The first thought that popped into my head when I stepped into my new home in Huntsville, Alabama: “We are going to have so many photo ops in this room!”

Coming from a small beach bungalow with wood paneling and a lack of windows on the pacific coast, seeing this front room with white walls & floor to cieling windows & gorgeous wood flooring was like I made it to the promised land. Before, all of our lifestyle-esque images of my littles were pretty much restricted to the kitchen (with the one big window) or it would be in the back yard. But here, even when it’s teetering between frigid & rainy or sunless and windy, there is still a space with enough natural lighting that I can grab photos of the wildthings.

This year, because of traveling (three weddings two thousand miles away in five weeks! holy crap!) + real weather, we decided to do something a little different for our holiday cards. Shot out to Starbucks and their cute black cocoa cups that was our muse for the whole set up!
